Innomesh requires users to accept a Terms of Service and Privacy Policy on first login. This one-time acceptance supports organisational compliance requirements including ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type 2 certification. This feature was introduced in Innomesh v3.5.2.
How It Works
When a user logs into Innomesh for the first time (or after a policy update), they are presented with the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy acceptance screen. The user must accept the terms before proceeding to Room Manager or Portal.
Acceptance is recorded once. Users are not prompted again unless the terms are updated by Innomate.

Reviewing the Terms
After initial acceptance, users can review the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy at any time:
- Click the user menu (top-right corner of Portal or Room Manager).
- Select Terms of Service or Privacy Policy.
- The terms open in a new tab or modal for review.
Compliance Context
The Terms of Service acceptance mechanism supports compliance with:
| Standard | Relevance |
|---|---|
| ISO 27001 | Demonstrates that users have acknowledged information security policies and acceptable use terms before accessing the system. |
| SOC 2 Type 2 | Provides evidence of user consent and awareness of service commitments, supporting the Trust Services Criteria for security and privacy. |
Administrator Visibility
Administrators can verify acceptance status through the Audit Logs, which record when each user accepted the terms.
