The Options Menu appears when hovering over the Options button in the top right corner of a Space CE room configuration popup window. This menu provides access to various room management and configuration tools.
Download as JSON
Saves the Space CE room configuration as a JSON file for backup or template purposes.
Copy Device IDs
This option only appears if the room has enabled devices. It displays a table of associated devices. Hovering over each device reveals its ID, which can be copied to the clipboard for use when editing room configurations.
Show All Options
Unlocks full access to all Space CE room configurations. Once enabled, certain configurations will no longer update automatically from the system template. A confirmation prompt appears before proceeding.
Update XPanel Settings
This option only appears if XPanels are enabled. It opens a configuration window for setting up and modifying XPanel devices.
Update Remote Web Panels
Displays a table for managing remote web panels. The Add button creates new rows, with placeholders prompting data entry. Changes only apply after clicking OK.
Update User Group
Opens the User Group Assignment dialogue, which restricts room visibility and editing based on user group membership. Changes require selecting Confirm followed by a room update.
Update VNC Settings
Allows configuration of touch panels by specifying Name, IP Address or Hostname, and Port values. Click Add to configure new panels.
Upgrade Pulse to Sight
Clicking this option triggers two additional prompts:
- Remove Sight: deselects the upgrade and returns the menu to the Upgrade Pulse to Sight state, reverting to Pulse monitoring.
- Set Sight Speed Tier: controls the query frequency for device monitoring — higher tiers increase how often Sight polls devices.
Duplicate Room
Creates a copy of the room configuration, including the Room Name, Repository Name, and IP addresses. The duplicated room’s name should be manually changed before finalising creation.
Load Room from File
Enables uploading a room configuration from a JSON file via drag and drop or the file browser.
Delete Room
Permanently removes the Space CE room after a confirmation warning.
