Sight leverages Innomesh cloud technology to aggregate live data from room equipment through native communication protocols. The system enriches this raw data using room and asset profiles to deliver comprehensive visibility across all rooms and assets within an environment.
Configuration options for Sight Insights are available on select Innomesh tenancies.
Room State Mapping
Room State Mapping functionality is accessible through a dropdown menu on the Sight Insights page. This feature enables mapping of device properties to room states. For example, when a display powers on, the overall room status updates to reflect actual usage patterns.
Adding a New Room Mapping
To create a new room mapping:
- Open a Sight room.
- Select Options (top right corner).
- Click Room State Mapping.
- Click the Add Mapping button.
The Add Room State Mapping window opens, allowing you to assign specific devices and define their operational triggers.
Available Room States
Four room state categories can be configured:
- Room Occupancy state
- Room Power state
- Source Select state
- Source Off state
Completion Steps
After configuring device mappings:
- Click Add.
- Click Save.
- Click Update.
This process ensures device properties appropriately reflect room conditions for better usage insights.
