This article explains how to configure Extron DSP control within Space CE using Innomesh Block IDs and channel IDs. This approach simplifies configuration by eliminating the need for extensive Extron Object ID knowledge.
Block ID Mapping
Innomesh provides several Block ID groupings that correspond to Extron Object IDs.
| Innomesh Block ID | Extron Object ID (First 3 digits) |
|---|---|
| post matrix | 500 |
| input | 500 |
| virtual return / virt ret | 501 |
| microphone / mic | 400 |
| expansion | 502 |
| group | N/A |
❗ Important
To control an Extron group, use
group as the Block ID and the Extron Group’s Object ID as the channel ID.Examples
The following examples demonstrate how to map Extron Object IDs to Innomesh equivalents.
- Mic Input Gain 1 (Object ID 40000): Block ID =
mic, Channel ID =1 - Mic Input Gain 2 (Object ID 40001): Block ID =
mic, Channel ID =2 - Virtual Return M (Object ID 50112): Block ID =
virt ret, Channel ID =13

Refer to Extron’s protocol documentation for detailed gain block assignments and their corresponding Object IDs when mapping additional channels.
